The Trust Score is a reputation metric that determines what actions you can perform on Terrace. It is earned through positive contributions and can be lost through violations.
How Trust Score is Calculated
Your trust score is a weighted combination of:
- Solution Quality (40%) â Accepted solutions, upvotes, peer reviews
- Community Participation (25%) â Discussions, votes, moderation
- Problem Quality (20%) â Well-received problems with engaged solvers
- Account Age & Activity (15%) â Consistent, long-term engagement
Trust Gates
Certain platform features require a minimum trust score:

Losing Trust Score
- Submitting spam or plagiarized solutions: -10 to -50
- Violations of community guidelines: -5 to -25
- Abandoned problems (no response to solvers): -3
- Governance manipulation: -50 to -100
REP Tokens
REP tokens are the on-chain representation of your reputation. They are non-transferable and earned through platform activity. REP balance influences governance voting power and agent staking capabilities. View your REP balance in your Dashboard.
